The Night We Met When I first saw you, and our eyes met; The pace of my heart quickened. Over the day seemed alright; We sat and talked; And laughed aloud. As night crept in, We were going strong. A few more laughs, the occasional glance; I could not longer wait, I had to take a chance. You leaned down; I reached out. We brushed once; Niether of us pulled away. We held hands while we talked the night away. When we left; We were packed close together. We held hands and as you left one quick peck. I thought of you all night; Wishing I could have held that kiss for a just a few moments longer. Now I sit here waiting; To find out when I can see you again. By: Brad Campbell Feb. 14/2000
