Someone Close to Me Here I sit all alone; By the phone I wait to hear you call. Nothing to do, but happy I am. Your voice itself can take away the bad; Here I am without fear; Fear that burns in my core. She speaks of things that I had almost forgot; To look in your eyes is to the future. A time so pure, an innocence so true; I smile as I write this think of you. Here I sit the has begun to rise; I smile and wait, remembering u at my side. Your smile so bright, Your scent felling the air; Remembering my hand running through your hair. You make me laugh, you make me smile. You make my life less of a toil. Be in an embrace or simply at your side; I feel my heart quicken like it is in a race. You are my joy, as I forget my pain; You are the one I call for when I need an ear. Here I sit still alone; Wishing for time to blend and fold. The seconds tick by, but not fast enough; My heart is now pounding with thoughts of you. I know that this hurt, it hurts to care this much; But the pain is worth it for just 1 hug. Here I am simple man, with just time; This clock damn evil, for not running by. Time does not like me; I sit and stare. Oh well soon that too will be forgot; As u once again lend me your ear. With that I will leave, until you are done; I will run no where, I simple am here. So, here I sit, waiting for you! By: Brad Campbell Jan. 29, 2003
