Life’s A Bitch

In life only this is true,
What you put in is not always what you get back.
Life has no rules,
You play it by ear.
You must never believe,
For then you are sure to fail.
When you’re time comes you must be ready,
Ready to leave, ready to cry, but most of all be ready for it all.

For life is a joke,
With a bad punch line.
It cares not about you,
Nor does it know time.
When you end comes,
You will be sent on.
To what I don’t know,
But I to shall go.

For time is a curse,
Unless you have love.
For love is a escape,
An escape from the truth.
The truth that haunts us,
We all must go.
So in my quick parting,
Remember this.
You can live without love,
But you will not have truly lived at all.
