Well going into the draft last year the team felt they need a top line Right winger, a steady Defenseman and a new Goalie, enter Fraser, French and Noronen. The season goes by without them. All 3 sign, enter the playoffs the team knocks off a top conteneder and takes a hugh lead on the next best team in their division.
What does this mean for the the offseason this year the team dealt it's 1st round pick 2nd overall for the cash to get out of the whole from last season now they have a chance to get out of the red without losing anymore picks or players. Can they find that diamond in the rough that Fraser proved to be at last years draft, or will they have to get by on the team's talent that sticks around from this season? Only time will tell.
